A varied Accounts Assistant - PART-TIME role has become available. Working in a Finance team of 3, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Client Details

A small but reputable construction business based in the Walton-On-Thames area with free parking provided and easy access via public transport.

This is a fully office based role so applicants must live locally.

PART-TIME hours: 20-25 hours per week, spread across 3-4 days.

Description

The Accounts Assistant - PART-TIME role involves:

Processing expense claims
Purchase Ledger / Processing invoices
Entering data for bi-weekly payment runs
Liaising with sub-contractors and colleagues via email and phone
Dealing with accounting queries
Raising Material Orders
Matching Goods Receives notes
Matching Purchase Orders
Raising Sub-Contract Order (Work Orders & Stage Payment Matrix)
Entering Sales Invoices
Process BACs payments
Raising Cheques
Processing BACS/Cheque/Debit Card Requisitions
Process mid & month end payment runs
Entering Reservation & Exchange deposits
Ordering Fuel Cards (Site Managers & Office Staff)
Dealing with Utility & Service Companies
Purchase Ledger Reconciliations
CIS TaxProfile

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant - PART-TIME role;

MUST HAVE strong Purchase Ledger experience
SUB-CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE / CIS is desirable but not essential
will ideally have worked in a similar role within the construction industry (not essential)
experience of the system COINS would be highly advantageous (not essential)
will live locally as this is fully office based
be looking for 20-25 hours per weekJob Offer

The Accounts Assistant - PART-TIME role offers a full time equivalent salary of GBP25-30,000 per annum.
