An opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper & Projects Administrator to work for a small but expanding independent company .

You will work within a small and friendly team and report to the Operations Manager your duties will include but arent limited to:

- Producing Sales Invoices and Credit Notes

- Sales and Purchase Ledger

- Credit Control

- Request and reconcile supplier statements.

- Bank Reconciliation

- Working with External Accountant (Producing Year End Accounts)

- VAT Returns (Quarterly)

- Cash Forecasting

- Monthly-Quarterly Management Accounts

- Maintain Nominal Accounts

- Assisting with weekly and monthly sales rep reports

- Answering the phone and dealing with general enquiries.

- Stock reconciliation

- Assist with export documentation.

- General ad-hoc duties as and when requested.

- Project management work to improve efficiency of the business

The individual will be proficient in the use of Sage50 and excel with a relevant accounting qualification. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your own workload whilst working in a team.

Hours:

Approx 30 hours a week Monday - Friday

Perhaps Monday - Friday; perhaps 08.30 - 2.30 or 9.30 - 3.30
