Reception Host - Part time Maternity Cover

Stephen James BMW & MINI is looking for a friendly & professional Reception Host on a temporary contract, who will welcome and assist our customers with their visit. This is a great opportunity join our prestigious centre and follow a career with the most forward-looking brands in automotive.

What you'll be doing:

As the Host you will be the first point of contact responsible for meeting, greeting & assisting all customers who visit the Showroom. You will be attentive to each visitor, quickly understanding their needs and helping to deliver a bespoke customer experience. You will be a brand ambassador and share our excitement for everything MINI and BMW.

Responsibilities

Friendly, professional, always welcoming, and helpful

Provide a bespoke attentive customer experience by understanding the customer requirements and managing their visit by directing them to the right department/ person

Proactive and organised, taking responsibility for general administration.

To occasionally deal with the telephone overflow by answering calls professionally and taking accurate messages that are given out in a timely, manner

Manage the customer waiting area by keeping customers updated, offering refreshments, and ensuring they are comfortable and well looked after

Keep the Showroom and waiting areas tidy and presentable

Your experience/skills

Friendly, professional, and welcoming with a passion for customer service

Excellent communication, especially confident face to face and will enjoy customer interaction

Good organisation and administration skills, with a passion for detail

Experience in front of house position is desirable

Must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary and Hours

Basic salary GBP11,119.68 per annum. Working hours: Monday, 8am - 6pm, Tuesday 8am - 1pm and Friday, 8am -6pm (24hrs per week). In addition, you will be required to provide cover as per business needs. Any additional hours worked will be paid as overtime.
