RG Consultancy are working with a Blackburn based charity who are looking for an experienced accountant to join them on a fixed term contract for 8 months.

Reporting directly to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including: monthly management accountants and other weekly and monthly finance tasks (as detailed below). This is a very hands on busy role and has become available due to the implementation of a new software system.

Duties:

assisting in the implementation of the new accounting software
Prepare the monthly management accounts
Providing accurate financial reports to the financial controller
Balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare month end journals
Assisting with budgets and forecasting
Month and year end reporting
Assisting with financial reporting for weekly/monthly board meetings
Candidate:

Full or part qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
Excellent IT/software knowledge - experience of a software change or systems upgrade is essential
