Part time Administrator

A unique manufacturing, family-owned business in Full Sutton is seeking an organised, customer focussed Office Administrator to work within a small and friendly team to assist with the running of the back office. This is a part time, permanent role, Monday to Thursday.

The business has an enviable client base made up of high-profile designers and architects across the UK and overseas who have become accustomed to receiving exceptionally high levels of quality, product and customer service.

This is a varied part time role that involves the following:

?? Dealing with all initial customer enquiries and orders

?? Talking to and building relationships with multiple suppliers and ensuring customers deliveries are co-ordinated within necessary timelines

?? Scheduling orders and liaising with the production team to ensure that order progress is on track whilst keeping the customer informed of any changes or delays.

?? Dealing with invoicing and book keeping, ensuring that payments are coming in and going out on time and that all logistics and office functions are running effectively

?? It is essential that you are fully conversant with Word and Excel and it will be advantageous if you have previous experience of using Xero.

If you have an interest in plants or gardening it will help you when you are talking about the products to potential customers but this is not essential. What is important is that you have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong administrative background, an 'unflappable personality and a sunny disposition.

In return this company offers a Monday to Thursday working week (9-5pm) to all their staff, 28 days holiday, pension, free parking and if you have a well-behaved dog you would like to take into work, they are very dog friendly!

Salary: GBP12/hr
