Our prestigious client is looking to recruit an experienced Part time HR Manager for a standalone role. The role will require the HR Manager to work 3 full days per week, a Monday is essential, and flexibility can be offered on the other 2 days. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional environment, reporting directly into the CEO with lots of scope for growth and development of the role. Previous experience of Equality, diversity and inclusion is essential for this role and experience of working within profesional services.

This is a hybrid role - 2 days office based and 1 day home based

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing HR strategic and operational advice and guidance to senior management
  • Managing the end-to-end annual HR cycle, including ensuring the maintenance of up-to-date HR files
  • Developing the recruitment process and onboarding of employees
  • Managing the HR administration in relation to annual appraisals, annual pay review, and monthly payroll submission to the out-sourced payroll service provider
  • Managing the benefits schemes, ensuring value for money
  • Training & development and performance management
  • Employee relations and employee policy and procedure, including reviewing and updating/developing policies as required
  • Maintaining the Employee Handbook
  • Provide advice to employees at all levels on relevant aspects of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensuring the company complies with all relevant employment law
  • Working with the Facilities Manager to ensure employees comply with all Health & Safety requirements
  • Providing advice and guidance and over-seeing the administration of the recruitment process
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics for senior management


Person Specification

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a stand-alone HR Operational role
  • The candidate will have experience of developing and implementing ED&I initiatives
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence, with experience of interacting confidently and appropriately with senior professionals and key stakeholders
  • Previous experience within the professional services sector is ideal
