Opportunity to work 15 hours a week to over 3 days to include a Monday for a small business on the edge of Farnham.
The Part Time Accounts Assistant Reports to the Accounts Manager and will provide support mainly on the purchase ledger but there will be ad-hoc accounts admin task also.
Part-Time Accounts Assistant duties will include:
* Processing purchase invoices for multiple companies
* Verifying invoices against Purchase Orders
* Raising queries with suppliers and maintaining a log of invoice queries
* Ensuring invoices are coded correctly for the appropriate projects
* Posting invoices to supplier accounts
* Processing Sub-Contractor invoices and checking against original quotes
* Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
* Weekly meeting with Director to get invoices authorises.
* Prepare monthly Aged Creditors report for month end payment run
* General ad-hoc accounts admin as required by the Accounts Manager
Part-Time Accounts Admin skills and experience:
* Accounts administration or accounts experience required. Ideally purchase ledger.
* Accuracy and attention to detail essential.
* Working knowledge of Excel.
* Experience of Sage desirable but training provided.
Must be seeking a permanent part-time position be satisfied with 15 hours per week as this is not suited as an interim role.
Gross Salary is GBP8,000 - GBP9,600 per annum according to level of accounts experience.
