As a true market leader in their field, they are keen to capitalise on this opportunity to continue to deliver growth, playing a key part of the executive leadership and providing expert advice to the Board on all matters financial impacting upon the business.Your new roleMajor responsibilities for this role include:

Leadership and management of the finance and IT Teams
Responsible for monthly and year-end financial reporting according to UK-GAAP
Working closely with the executive team in making commercial decisions within the two companies
Provide expert advice to the Board on all matters financial impacting upon the business
Responsible for cash-flow and working capital management
Analysing and managing costs and overall results
Reviewing and improving financial processes
Preparation and presentation of the annual budgets
Responsible for overseeing Internal controls
Overseeing payroll (working with 3rd party payroll bureau)
Primary point of contact for bank and auditors
Managing ad hoc projects as they arise
What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience as Finance Director or acting as a key commercial individual seeking their first Finance Director appointment
Good communication skills, most importantly to be able to communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders about issues originating within the finance and IT teams.
Strong analytical skills.
Someone who will enjoy working in a small but rapidly growing business with the rewards and challenges that this brings
A self-starter able to work alone and complete work to a high standard within tight deadlines (when required).
Experience of transactions would be an advantage but is not essential
A highly desirable candidate would have experience in a similar sized organisation who has worked closely with Board/SMT in a commercially driven position who is seeking a part-time, hands on role.What you'll get in returnYou'll be working with a team both at senior and more junior level who are completely bought into the continued success of the organisation. This is a very exciting opportunity to work closely with industry specialists who lead the business and play a key part in driving the success of the organisation. There are no guarantees, however future opportunity for equity within the business may be an option.The business operate fully in the office, however full flexibility in terms of working options are available should they be required (such as doing the school run, early start/finish etc).Salary: up to GBP70,000 p/a (pro-rata)

Significant profit related bonus
25 days + statutory holiday entitlement (pro-rata)
