Retirement Living Coordinator

We have an exciting new permanent opportunity for a Retirement Living Coordinator in Brampton, Cumbria, working 30 hours per week.

Position: Retirement Living Coordinator

Location: Brampton, Cumbria

Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week

Salary: £21,880.02 pro rata £17,504.02

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Opt-in to the auto-enrolment pension scheme or enhanced rate scheme, 25 days’ holiday per year (plus bank holidays), 10% salary increase after 12 months' service, dependent on work performance, family friendly benefits providing enhanced maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and adoption, Riverside Rewards scheme and app.

What will you do?

As a committed team member, you will facilitate the coordination and delivery of a professional service to Retirement Living customers, in line with performance standards and ‘best practice’ in the social housing field.

Day to day your usual responsibilities as a Retirement Living Coordinator will include:

 

  • Ensuring occupancy targets are met, through lettings and refurbishments of properties.
  • Meeting rent collection and arrears targets.
  • Providing practical support and information to customers when entering the service and throughout their involvement with the service.
  • Monitoring and reducing issues of anti-social behaviour as well as promote customer involvement at the scheme.
  • To monitor and liaise the delivery of service contracts.

 

Does this describe you?

You are flexible, empathetic, inclusive and resilient. Even better, you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills too. You have worked with older and vulnerable clients before. You are experienced in housing management as well as liaison with agencies and partner organisations.

Though not essential by any means, formal care, support or housing qualifications would be beneficial in this role.
