Part-Time Accounts Assistant Grimsby Up to GBP26,000 FTE Chase & Holland are proud to be supporting a well-established, growing business who are looking to recruit a proactive Part Time Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will mainly provide support to the Finance Director and be responsible for all aspects of transactional accounts and assisting with month end accounting. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking person to stay with the business for the long term on a 30 hours a week basis. Part-Time Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
Purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and all associated tasks
Generating and processing supplier payment runs
Processing employees personal expense forms
Maintaining the cashbooks daily
Daily update of actual cashflow movements
Assisting with monthly VAT Return and associated HMRC reporting
Assisting with Accruals & Prepayments
Producing analysis as required (to include contractor spend and net freight costs)
Assisting with the year-end audit process
Assisting with preparation of data for Management/Statutory Accounts Required Skills & Experience:
Varied accounts experience, ideally in a Manufacturing or FMCG business
GCSE Level 4 / C or equivalent in English and Maths
AAT qualification desirable but not essential In Return Youll Receive:
