As the Social Media Analytics Manager, your primary role will be to support teams at Sky, across group, to establish strong social media measurement frameworks, provide performance analysis that allows Sky to constantly improve its social media output and deliver critical insights from social data. Your key focus will be the UK & German markets, but the role will require collaboration across all social media teams at Sky.

 

What you'll do:

  • Deliver structured insights from social data sources
  • Work closely with counterparts in Germany and across group to create sustainable frameworks that help Sky understand and improve performance
  • Work closely with Sky Studios social media teams to deliver social listening, analytics and campaign performance across platforms for Sky Studios shows and films
  • In partnership with the social media analytics team, develop Sky's group social listening output, creating everything from local insight and global dashboards
  • Understand our key stakeholders' business areas
  • Lead test and learn initiatives to help continually improve the performance of group social media activity
  • Build a strong partnership with the Senior Social Media Analyst to raise the profile of the SM analytics team across the business

 

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 3+ years in a similar field
  • German Native language speaker. (Highly proficient speakers considered)
  • Proven track record on landing social insights and analytics across social and paid social campaigns
  • Experience and knowledge across a variety of social listening and analytics tools and techniques (e.g. Sprinklr, Bright Analytics)
  • Understanding of Business decision making: working with stakeholders to understand their decisions and the opportunities these present
  • Excellent technical execution and attention to detail
  • An ability to summarise patterns and findings in a convincing story and professionally presenting this to stakeholders at all levels
  • A commercial interest, demonstrating a keen interest in the media industry and a desire to follow recent trends in the market
