As a Sales Executive, you’ll be in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with teams to design, build and sustain solutions to support Microsoft’s growth ambitions. You'll work with Retail Partners to identify new sales opportunities and develop account plans to reach your targets.

As a global organisation, Microsoft have many different customer types to provide their many services to – they call these 'Business areas'. In your role you will be located within the Consumer and Channel Sales and Marketing (CCSM) business area. They build, market and sell consumer products, the top 5 categories being Xbox, Surface, M465, PC Accessories and Windows.

You will work as part of a team to...

• Identify growth in the market of your designated products
• Build sales relationships with Retail Partners
• Understand how to develop account plans to drive sales
• Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure you meet team and individual KPIs, targets and goals
• Provide revenue reports to help forecast for next quarter
• Present products to prospective customers in a benefit driven approach
• Understand your customers’ needs to ensure best product fit for them

You will study for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification over this 18 month apprenticeship. You will spend 80% of your time learning on the job, and 20% working towards your apprenticeship. If you are successful on this programme, you may have the opportunity to go on with Microsoft to study at a higher level within your team, for example a Degree Apprenticeship.

Microsoft operate in a Hybrid Working environment. In simple terms, this means your working life can be split between home and your contracted place of work. As an apprentice you and your manager are empowered to find the flexible balance that works for you. Trips to your contracted place of work will be required from time to time.
