Description of Opportunity

Working in the Post sales area of Microsoft, a Customer Solutions Representative drives success with some of the business’ highest priority customers on their Azure product. In this technical, customer facing role, you will be accountable for the customers cloud deployment experience. This can include architectural design, implementation of projects and concept proofs. You'll learn skills in deep technical architecture and application design to aid clients with improving their current solutions.

In your role you will be located within the Customer Success Unit. This team focusses on making Microsoft and our customers successful through driving innovation, pushing boundaries and generating value for our communities.


You will work as part of a team to…

 

  • Proactively manage accounts by spotting performance issues, analysing problems and developing solutions to meet customers needs
  • Gather customer feedback of products and services to influence decision making
  • Develop your technical skills
  • Presenting demo's or presentations to clients showing them new products and features
  • Become a product expert
  • Be a visible face to your customers, provide expert advice and insight in relation to their products
  • Understand a customers’ needs and how your Microsoft product can best solve their problems
  • Assist clients with their product implementation

You will study for a Level 3 Business Administration qualification over this 18 month apprenticeship. You will spend 80% of your time learning on the job, and 20% working towards your apprenticeship. If you are successful on this programme, you may have the opportunity to go on with Microsoft to study at a higher level within your team, for example a Degree Apprenticeship.

Microsoft operate in a Hybrid Working environment. In simple terms, this means your working life can be split between home and your contracted place of work. As an apprentice you and your manager are empowered to find the flexible balance that works for you. Trips to your contracted place of work will be required from time to time.
