Would you like to work for a top-rated private markets investor globally – whilst taking ownership of your career in client solutions?

Macquarie Asset Management - Client Solutions Group is looking to hire an Associate level team member who will focus on our private markets business across infrastructure, renewables, private credit and real estate.

With a focus on our private markets platform across EMEA, you will assist with fundraising, investor relations and the development of all our private markets products.  Furthermore, you will work closely with our product specialists and relationship managers to produce marketing, investor relations and due diligence materials for existing and potential investors.

A solid understanding of the track record of our funds and investments across all sectors will become key to being able to respond to our investor’s queries. You will also assist with the process of raising new capital for funds and fund establishment, including working with our legal, tax and company secretariate teams. You will also help execute our infrastructure co-investments where you will gain an understanding of the M&A transaction lifecycle and asset management process.

Our Client Solutions Group is responsible for Macquarie Asset Management’s investor interface across product development, capital raising, investor relations and co-investment. We have a globally diverse investor base, and the team covers the world’s largest and most sophisticated institutional investors globally, including Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Sovereign Wealth Funds, UHNW individuals and Foundations.

We attract and select high-calibre individuals, while numerical or analytical degrees are favourable, it is not a requirement if you are able to demonstrate the required skill-set. Our employees are diverse, motivated, and collaborative and are all committed to Macquarie’s key principles of integrity, accountability and opportunity.

If you have experience in private markets, ideally through transactions, in fund management, investment banking or strategy consulting, we want to hear from you.

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
