We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Receptionist to join a smashing company on a temp to perm basis. The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience and be available to cover the morning shift in their Colnbrook offices. With a fantastic team and excellent company benefits this is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced receptionist who is looking for a part time opportunity.

The working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8.30am to 13.30pm - Slight flexibility required

Role responsibilities:

* Answer incoming telephone calls, both external and internal, professionally and promptly, ensuring all calls/messages are forwarded to the appropriate staff member

* The first point of contact for welcoming all visitors/contractors

* To open and distribute the morning post and any internal post that may arrive from other depots during the day

* Frank post in a timely way to ensure that it is ready for collection

* Update the franking machine as and when required, and in case of problems contact the engineers or the ICT Manager at Head Office

* Tidy and maintain the reception area

* Take bookings for the meeting room, prepare the room and make any necessary meal/refreshment arrangements, ensuring that crockery and utensils are placed in the dishwasher and unloaded when cleaned

* Update Excel spreadsheets by importing and exporting data and producing reports

* Receive parcel deliveries and ensure that they are collected by the correct department as soon as possible

* Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including health and safety and employment.

* Any other duties, such as ad hoc projects, as requested by the job holder's Manager/Supervisor or the Board of Directors that are within the skills and capabilities of the job holder

Experience / Skills / Knowledge:

* Ideally, at least one year's previous reception experience

* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and databases, including at least an intermediate knowledge of Excel

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Possess excellent prioritisation / organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task

* An understanding of the necessity for confidentiality

* Excellent customer service skills
