You'll be joining our existing leadership team that is delivering operational effectiveness testing on Public Cloud Platform controls. Being the first line of defence our aim is to assess and remediate control weaknesses on both Group owned tenants as well as on cloud service providers like Azure, GCP and AWS. You'll be required to perform and assist with the execution of controls testing on the Cloud controls. With the proliferation of Cloud Service Provides in recent times the ability to deliver innovative, cost effective, scalable and quick-to-market business solutions has increased significantly. This has therefore resulted in the need for agile & fast-paced risk assurance activities.

Additionally you'll contribute towards the delivery of high quality and value adding Cloud control testing and assessment activities related to different Cloud deployment models, and covering a wide range of control objectives including but not limited to, Network Security, Incident Management, Resilience, Identity and Access Management etc.

You'll play a key role in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Cloud controls through carrying out & managing control testing activities on Public/Private cloud controls for the Group.

What would you be getting involved with?

You'll report to the Cloud Controls Framework & Implementation (CCFI) leadership team and will:

  • Perform & manage the cloud controls testing schedule of activities in partnership with various internal & external partners

  • Review the cloud controls testing deliverables & reports.

  • Help problem solve & resolve issues that hinder progress on testing

  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of remediation measures implemented to help mitigate against the cloud failures in a complete and transparent way

  • Be responsible for the testing progress for the assigned controls and update senior audiences about the progress and results

  • Assist in scoping, planning and scheduling of Cloud Control Testing activities

  • Understand and evaluate relevant cloud risks and controls designed to mitigate these risks to a level acceptable by management

About you...

  • You'll have experience and knowledge in having tested Cloud Controls and will love to fix problems and challenge the status quo with innovative ideas.

  • Demonstrable years of relevant experience in IT organisation of a financial institution or audit/consulting firm.

  • Demonstrable experience in applying different control testing methodologies.

  • Solid understanding of the Cloud risk and controls inherent in to different service and deployment models.

  • Specialised in testing of Cloud process including but not limited to Network Security, Incident Management, Data Security, Identity & Access Management.

A good understanding of various Information Technology Assurance Frameworks (COBIT, ISO27001, ITIL, NIST etc.) and of current and emerging technology trends would be very useful.

Similarly if you're qualified in CISA and have any additional qualifications (e.g. CISSP/CISM and CCSK) these would be beneficial.
