London - We're happy with home working the majority of the time, however you'll need to be in office 2 days per week under your own cost.

Salary & Benefits: £61,716 to £76,470 per annum (location dependent), plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Now we want to do more, we now have career opportunities for driven individuals to take on a Front End Engineer role.

What will I focus on in this role?

You will be delivering or helping to deliver exciting customer driven solutions. The ultimate measure of success for LBG is quality software in production with the team being continually challenged, motivated, mentored and supported and being part of an autonomous team driving quality solutions.

We're looking for a Front End developer to work on single page apps and components in multi-functional agile teams.

Specific activities which you'll be responsible for include things like;

  • Contribute to design of features

  • Prototyping and development of reusable components and customer facing applications

  • Writing test scripts, code reviews and technical documentation

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of shared code libraries and collaborate with other technology teams

  • Participate in the agile process to produce rapid delivery of customer features

  • Understand and apply industry best practices, foster knowledge sharing to provide solutions for complex business problems where no precedent may exist and ensure implementation of solutions where appropriate.

  • Mentor and develop more junior engineers, providing clear and constructive feedback and building opportunities for learning and growth.

  • HTML/SASS

  • Node

  • Jest/Enzyme

  • REST to build scalable single page apps and reusable components.

  • Passionate about technology and writing clean, maintainable & performant code.
