Marketing and external communications is integral to our strategy in supporting our business growth.

As we are in the midst of launching our new strategy, this is an exciting time for an interim Senior Marketing Manager to join us for maternity cover and be a key part of our marketing team.

The role covers a diverse range of marketing outputs - You'll lead our marketing function as well as work with all areas of the business to drive our marketing and external communications strategy, reporting to the Sales, Marketing & Framework Director.

This is a great opportunity for a passionate marketer who is a quick learner and keen to work in a fast-paced, high-achieving, and supportive team.

What you'll be doing:

Everything marketing related! - Working across the whole business for our national strategies and external branding. Working with your team and collaborating with our sales teams, overseeing and managing PR, content and socials.
The marketing team helps with award submissions (we win quite a lot!) we also help organise events and market them of course...

We are construction business (we build stuff!) so we take lots of photos and produce videos to showcase what we do - you can help direct those "movies"

Manage all the digital stuff - Google Analytics, SEO, AdWords, Pay per click , etc

It would be great if you understand Microsoft Dynamics 365 marketing too or have experience of similar CRM (customer relationship management) systems

Able to analyse the data - help us with the big decisions...

And look after the budget!

It sounds like a lot to do but is all pretty *standard marketing workload and we offer support - so if you do some of this, have other ideas or do things differently then we want to hear from you too.

*shhh...not the words from our marketing manager!

Essential and Desirable Criteria

Desirables (not must haves)

  • Member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing
  • Experience and knowledge of the built environment
  • Experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Spark is desirable
