- Deliver supply chain value to the business (including efficiencies and risk mitigation
- Building relationships at executive and senior level through early involvement and proactive stakeholder engagement
- Understand the business strategies, plans and forecasts in order to prepare Category Management team for upcoming projects
- Develop customized sourcing solution strategies and plans for Stakeholders
- Drive Business Ideas, Strategies and Preferred Supplier Lists
- Identify needs in projects and product areas and anticipate trends to ensure that they are incorporated and addressed in Category and Sourcing strategies
- Sell and promote the value of Category Management to the stakeholder community (sharing category strategies, market intelligence, supplier market insights, spend analytics etc…)
- Understanding of Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to write strategy documentation
- Resilient approach to driving change
- Can demonstrate innovative approach to problem solving
- MCIPS (desirable)
- Knowledge of public procurement regulations (desirable)
