Willmott Dixon are currently looking to recruit an IT Project Manager to join their project services team within the IT department. Within this role you will be responsible for the management and delivery of IT projects, ensuring projects are delivered to time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards whilst maintaining good stakeholder relationships. This will be working mainly with our Application Services Team on the enhancement of existing systems and working with the business on new initiatives.

Although the team are based at our head office in Letchworth Garden City, this role can be done as either a hybrid, or a fully remote role, with occasional travel to Letchworth or other Willmott Dixon office locations.

The Project

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of technology and application projects ensuring all projects are delivered to time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards whilst maintaining good stakeholder relationships.

The role will be accountable for maintaining practical processes using best-practice methodologies and systems across all technology functions, ensuring Willmott Dixon achieves maximum value, performance, and realised benefits from the projects delivered.

The project manager will ensure that the project teams are operating in line with business needs and in accordance with agreed project milestones or targets. The role will ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with defined procedures, policies and the prevailing IT processes and project management methodologies used to manage and control the end-to-end services. The role will be focusing on management of application projects so experience of delivering these is desirable.

  • Prince2 qualification
  • ITIL 4 Foundation
