Job Details
Willmott Dixon is looking to recruit an In-house Trainer to take responsibility for designing and delivering diverse learning solutions with a focus on behaviours, relationships and leadership. The successful candidate will be customer focused and happy to undertake UK travel as the service is required on a national basis throughout our regional offices. Training delivery will be delivered both face to face and via teams depending upon the course. Willmott Dixon is happy to consider someone looking to work part-time or flexibly. About us Learning and Development is at the heart of Willmott Dixon and everything we do. The successful candidate will create and deliver bespoke training programmes, projects and events in line with strategic and Company objectives as our purpose is to expand on the talents and skills of our people at all levels within the business. We are building a culture of excellence at Willmott Dixon and the outstanding development of our people is critical in our journey. We are looking for someone who has an appetite and passion for learning and can inspire others. Our Learning and Development team is newly established in its current structure; we are driving impactful and progressive change across the business which will prepare us for current and future growth, commercial success and ultimately offer our people a career of a lifetime.
Essential and Desirable Criteria
To be considered for the role you will have strong presentation skills and ideally experience of delivering management and leadership training to a range of people. We also think that a strong background in construction would be beneficial so we are open to an individual who has passion for learning, a construction background and strong presentation skills but has not necessarily delivered training as their main role previously. You will also have experience in building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. From a technical point of view we would expect a strong knowledge of both business and systems to support the delivery of engaging learning materials and our preferred candidate would ideally also have the 'know how' to manage digital learning content on a Learning Management System. We need someone with energy and a "hands on" approach who is willing to consult with the business, design L&D modules and deliver training to the many different areas of our construction and fit out business. Our culture is strongly values based and we are an ambitious but fun team so a sense of humour and 'can do' attitude will definitely serve you well!
