The Financial Planning team is a customer centre of excellence for Engagement and Conversion Marketing. The team is responsible for planning and delivering the marketing activity to help meet the needs of our customers across their short and long-term financial needs; in a way which demonstrates our understanding of audiences, uses data to drive effective Demand Generation, developing strong propositions linked to audience and creating effective Conversion funnels to support the customer through their individual journey.

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you'll use data and insight to shape and deliver customer communications through the customer journey to acquire, engage and retain our customers.

Working in a collaborative team, you'll help our customers to understand the importance & benefits of financial planning provided by our partners - Schroders Personal Wealth.

You'll support the delivery of planned Direct Mail and Email campaigns, ensuring integration across digital and human channels. Using data and insight you'll optimise and improve existing campaigns as we learn about our customers behaviour.

Your role will involve working closely with a number of teams (e.g. Analytics & Interactions, Onsite Customer Engagement and our internal creative agency: Beehive) in order to deliver outstanding conversion marketing. Our partners at Schroders Personal Wealth will work closely with the marketing team to build the proposition and provide data and insight on our customers as they move through the sales funnel.

You'll be expected to own elements of the marketing plan and manage the delivery, whilst doing this you'll bring in your own ideas and views on how we can deliver the best customer experience for these customers.

Please note this vacancy is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

Location & Ways of Working:

Our team is based in our London hub therefore we'll need you to be based a commutable distance from this area. We work in a hybrid model, splitting our time between the office and working from home.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Working closely with business units, the wider marketing team, and the agency portfolio to develop and complete personalised communications plans.

  • Supporting in the development of personalisation recommendations, reviewing opportunities to improve communications with messages that will feel personal to the customer receiving them and drive greater engagement and response.

  • Updating performance dashboards and defining actions to build efficiency of marketing activity and increase value generated by Marketing.

  • Analysing results, collating valuable insight, and presenting this to a range of audiences.

  • Ensuring accurate and effective day to day budget management.

  • Understanding the roles and strategies of our brands, how we use them to appeal to existing and new customers and applying to conversion plans and communications.

  • Using new conversion technology / capability as it comes on board, to consistently improve performance.

We're looking for colleagues with the following skills and experience:

  • Relentless focus on creative excellence and strong creative judgement required.

  • Experience in developing and implementing complex, multi variant, personalised campaigns.

  • Strong production experience and knowledge of levers to deliver continual speed to market improvements.

  • Accurately accounts for all campaign spend and understands LBG budget processes.

  • Numerate and able to interpret performance data / make recommendations to improve campaign activity.

  • Navigates a wide variety of existing processes, procedures and precedents to interpret data and identify possible answers.

  • Establishes good collaborative working relationships with key partners - to support delivery of shared objectives.
