Established in 1973, Anglo Educational Services boasts a wealth of experience in organising long-term and short-term accommodation, internship placements and customised educational, professional, alumni and sports tours focusing on London, the UK and Europe. AES offers a variety of services; from academic and logistical support for semester and short term programmes as well as accommodation and study centre venues.
Key duties
- Assisting the Educational Programmes Manager in maintaining high standards within the Educational Tours Department and working alongside other colleagues.
- Working on Tour Plan – CRS (full training will be given).
- Itinerary updating, invoicing and ensuring that all groups are meticulously planned & operated.
- Booking/operating services required for groups (e.g. Coaches, guides, restaurants, rooming lists etc.)
- Day to day contact with the suppliers & clients.
- On call when groups are in house
- Hybrid role to assist other departments within the company, when required
Site Visits:
- Working in conjunction with Educational Programmes Manager on quotes for potential site visits
- Booking and confirmation of academic related visits and guest lectures
- Liaising with home campus and organisation to ensure that academic needs and objectives are clear, and communicated to sites
- Following up with site visits post-visit
- Creating and maintaining database of all academic related site visits
- Source new site visits via the Internships dept.
- Research & expand the site visit portfolio.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Preferably with a degree or work experience within the education/International business sector
- Ideally a European language
- Must have excellent communication skills and fluent in both verbal and written English.
- A sound knowledge of Word, Excel and Data entry.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- General office administration and reporting.
