Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Resourcing & Early Careers Adviser to play an important role in supporting our recruitment activity for both early careers and experienced hires. This is fantastic role where you will take a lead in providing evidence led creative solutions to support recruiting managers to effectively market vacancies and assess candidates, whilst ensuring the candidate experience is positive and in line with our brand. We need you to join us in attracting the best talent to Historic England and champion inclusive hiring.

This role is 24 hours a week, due to our current team working arrangements we will consider a flexible approach to your working hours, but we will require someone to work Fridays.

The location of this role is National - we will consider hybrid working where you are based in the office or home or a home worker.

What you will be doing:

You will be responsible for proactively engaging and support HR colleagues, managers and other stakeholders to identify, resource plan and manage both experienced hires and early career initiatives.

You will develop and maintain strong working relationships which enable us to achieve our corporate objectives.

Working in a supportive team you will create recruitment marketing campaigns and content that engages key candidate audience.

You will be responsible for gathering data and using this to provide analysis and reporting to help identify continuous improvements, including through our Applicant Tracking System and candidate surveys.

You will have the opportunity to work with managers on their recruitment requirements including discussing advertising, assessment, selection and on-boarding. You will create and maintain inspiring content for our internet pages and social media channels.

-Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across the organisation and be a trusted adviser for recruitment activity
-Understanding of the recruitment lifecycle; advertising, assessment, selection and on- boarding
-Focused on delivering excellent candidate experience, for both internal and external candidates.
-Ability to coordinate and manage various deadlines and conflicting requirements
-Seek and listen to other people`s views, needs and suggestions and exceeds people`s expectations with a positive solution orientated attitude
