We are working with a growing property company needing a Head of Recruitment and People to overhaul their talent and HR!
This role is an integral role for a growing property business, well suited for someone who has a commercial mindset. The role will entail direct recruitment and streamlining procedures as well as managing general HR.
This is a new role due to growth and will look at implementing people strategies particularly for hiring and keeping staff. This roles provides a rare and exciting opportunity to completely make your own and create real impact!
JOB TITLE: Head of Recruitment and People
COMPANY: Property company
CONTRACT: Permanent
START: ASAP (will wait for notice period)
HOURS: Part time (3 full days per week - they can be flexible with the hours you want to work!)
LOCATION: Central London
SALARY: GBP50,000 - GBP80,000 pro rata plus bonus depending on experience
BENEFITS: Pension scheme, 25 days holiday, potential performance/company based bonus, sociable environment, opportunity for study support for CIPD, etc.!

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
Work closely with the wider team, hiring managers, and the senior management team to understand resourcing requirements for the business
Advise on best commercial practices with regards to recruitment, championing direct hiring methods throughout the use of job boards, LinkedIn, social media and direct online advertising
Ownership of the full end to end recruitment cycle for hires within the business
Manage and support the recruitment process for all roles, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and advising hiring managers of best and most efficient recruiting practices
Implement and monitor processes for talent pipeline to create a talent bank of candidates to aid with direct resourcing
Report to senior management team on hiring results and recruitment metrics, including cost savings to the business and commercials with regards to recruiting methods (costs of job boards, etc.)
Create and implement a talent on-boarding procedure and people strategy with regards to recruitment
Manage relationships with recruiters and head-hunters and maintain a strong PSL
Liaise with marketing to develop and implement effective talent attraction
Write effective job descriptions and advertise using marketing methods to attract talentHR
Liaise and manage relationship with external HR/Legal consultant for all generalist HR matters
Ensure all employee records are kept up to date in BrightHR
Handle all administrative tasks for on-boarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including all employment contracts and HR paperwork
Provide HR advice to employees in relation to absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievance matters, organisational change, and all other employee-relations matters
Contribute to the development of people policies and HR processes for a growing businessSKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Degree education desirable, but not mandatory
Knowledge of recruitment tools (job boards, Linkedin, etc.)
Proven experience in a recruitment role (internal or agency) for a range of roles (from junior level sales to C-suite roles)
Generalist HR experience (predominantly generalist admin with the desire to get involved in more senior level projects that effect change)
Commercial awareness
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence change
