A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious standalone HR Advisor has arisen to join a great employer based in Maidstone, on a remote or hybrid basis. This position is part time, offering 25 hours per week spread across 5 working days!

The focus of this role will be to deliver people management strategies in support of the organisation's strategic aims. The role will have both a strategic and an operational focus, providing expert advice and support on all generalist HR matters.

Duties include:

Actively developing and maintaining current HR policies and procedures working in close partnerships with senior management to implement a HR strategy
Proactive support, coaching and mentoring for managers, providing advice on policies and procedures.
Actively liaise with the third-party payroll and pension providers to ensure smooth execution of monthly salary and pensions processes
Individual case management, including complex employee relation issues.
Providing end-to-end recruitment support; including jobs adverts, candidate screening, interviews through to the onboarding process overseeing inductions and probation periods of all new starters.
Monitor and develop all employee records from maternity to paternity requests, sickness and absence continuously reporting to senior management
Develop and monitor performance, leave, and internal appraisal systems
Execute, Develop, and maintain starter and leaver procedures
Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up to date
Ensure UK employment legislation knowledge is up to date
Support with other company projects as required
Complete regular market research to ensure the organisation remains competitive in terms of salary reviews, compensation, and benefits package

The successful candidate will have/be:

Experience within a generalist HR Advisory role on both strategic and operational levels
CIPD qualification, ideally to Level 3 or 5.
Experience of change management processes and implementation.
Experience managing all levels of recruitment and advising on employment relations issues.
Thorough up to date knowledge of employment law.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience
