Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) has an exciting opportunity available for a Leadership Development Consultant to join our team in Maidstone. You will join us on a part time, permanent basis, working 4 days (30 hours) per week. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of GBP36,673 - GBP42,158 per annum pro rata.

About the role:

As a Leadership Development Consultant, you'll be part of a hugely influential team and will be responsible for developing our leaders. Building their skills, identifying and celebrating their strengths by leading on, and delivering, our leadership programs, and putting in place key development that meets the needs of our people, both now and in the future. You'll also be responsible for driving the delivery of a hybrid model for leadership development, making learning accessible to everyone, and maximising leadership capability.

To thrive in this role and to make the above happen, you'll work closely and collaboratively with all leaders and support functions to establish what their needs are and how we can help. Effective consultancy, curiosity, and a can-do mindset are a must. You'll be working closely with our strategic plan to ensure that all work is effective and impactful.

As our Leadership Development Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Designing, delivering, and evaluating leadership development programs and interventions across the service

Consulting with leaders and key stakeholders at all levels to establish leadership development needs and respond accordingly

Assisting with the management and delivery of our coaching interventions across the service

Facilitating action learning sets, helping our leaders to learn through current and very real situations they face

Measuring engagement and usage of leadership activity and learning platforms to understand their success and return on investment for our leaders and the business alike

As our Leadership Development Consultant???????, you'll bring:

Experience and a thorough understanding of current leadership development practices

An ability to build effective working relationships with people at all levels within the business

Knowledge of hybrid learning delivery methods and tools

Experience and understanding of leading others and supporting them through change
