Job Description

Primary role purpose:

The HR Technology team is a small but critical team that sits within the Chief People Office. We support, develop and drive all corporate wide HR Systems initiatives. Our core HRIS platform is SuccessFactors and this sits at the heart of our HR technology work.  In specific areas of HR we use and integrate 3rd party solutions (for example, ATS, LMS, Onboarding systems) with the SuccessFactors platform to provide a best-of-breed technology stack.    

This role leads the HR Technology team, and is accountable for identifying, developing, delivering and communicating technology and process solutions and tools to improve HR effectiveness. This role also supports the Global HR Team by developing and implementing improvements to HR working practices which maximise the opportunities to simplify and automate activity offered by the technology platform. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and implementation of our HR Technology stack: SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, SmartRecruiters, Enboarder, Docusign,  CornerstoneOnDemand, and SAP/Concur.  This includes organising the workload and setting direction for the HR Technology team to meet business requirements, ensuring delivery through system development, developing and maintaining integrations between the various systems and platforms, and ensuring our external support partners meet expectations
  • Work closely with the HR Operations Director to ensure core HR processes are organised to take advantage of the automation and workflow efficiencies offered by our technology stack. 
  • Work with internal IT and other relevant parties to develop integrated solutions between HR systems and other relevant corporate applications (Okta identity management, MS Office365, MS Sharepoint, etc)
  • Line management responsibility for the core HR System support team, currently two HR System Analysts. Including directing workload, objective setting, performance review, personal development and supervision of their day-to-day activities
  • Work with the HR Director, Reward and Technology to control budget spend and maintain effective commercial relationships with 3rd party vendors (primary technology partner is Gavdi). 

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • This is a hands on systems role, and you will be the subject matter expert in all SucccessFactors related queries, issues and programmes. This role therefore requires an in-depth knowledge of the system at super-user and system admin level, especially using the Employee Central and Core Talent modules (e.g. Goal setting, Performance Management, Compensation, etc.)
  • An understanding of the SAAS support models and experience of navigating through the various levels of support infrastructure through 3rd party vendors
  • Be comfortable driving discussions around technical development of the system and an understanding of how data imports, interfaces, etc. can be managed
  • Project management skills – although no formal project management qualification is required, you must demonstrate experience in this area and understand the principles and methodology relating to project and programme management
  • People management experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

Desirable skills and Experience:

  • Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing management systems
  • Experience with SAP/EC Payroll
  • Experience with building/maintaining integrations between technology platforms.
