We are seeking a permanent PART TIME HR professional (3 days per week, 2 x days in the Old Street office) to assist and implement HR processes within a medium sized, but rapidly growing, creative marketing agency. Partnering with the senior leadership team, you will have the autonomy and responsibility for developing and implementing the People Strategy. While the company has experienced rapid growth, they require a HR professional to help them manage and enrich their people and culture.

A genuine exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to establish the HR function for a company with a truly collaborative work culture. You will be helping them to work smarter and retain their most important assets - their people!

Head of People & Culture Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the People Strategy ensuring all HR functional activities are aligned to business goals
  • Acting as a sounding board to the management team in developing creative and cost-efficient business and people solutions and implementing them appropriately
  • Own all HR processes and procedures and ensure they are executed efficiently and effectively including recruitment, on boarding and leavers
  • Define, agree, communicate, and drive the recruitment process where required
  • Review, manage and administrate the Company's recruitment process includingadvertising, search, screening, recruitment metrics/KPIs
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates and internal stakeholders on all HR issues
  • Own the management and storage of employee data in line with the Data Protection legislation
  • Lead on all employee relations issues, such as managing absence, disciplinary, grievance, using technical HR and business knowledge to support commercially viable approaches
  • Own and lead the performance management processes including the annual and mid-year reviews, ensuring that all employees reviewed fairly and consistently, and line managers are sufficiently supported. Provide advice and coaching on any ad-hoc capability/performance issues

Head of People & Culture Experience & Skills:

  • You will enjoy creating a HR function, have worked with an SME environment and understand the complexities of a rapidly growing business. Proven HR experience within a professional environment
  • Proven expertise in key HR processes (performance review), as well as recruitment, on-boarding, joiners, leavers, and sickness absence. Ideally CIPD qualified.
  • Sound knowledge of employment law and experienced in handling employee relations with a commercial outlook.

Location: Old Street / Farringdon

Hybrid working: 2 days from the office and a day from home (flexible days) 9.30am - 6pm.
