Homestay Families Wanted for Japanese Students

We are seeking homestay families for our various homestay programs. Our short-term programs allow you to host whenever you and your family are available and our long-term programs offer you a stable income throughout the year. If you ve got a spare room and would like to make some extra money while meeting new people from Japan, this is your chance!

Our new online platform allows families to market their homestay to a global audience. Visitors to the site can view profiles of hosts and their homes, see photos, browse destinations, read about the local area, and compare prices. You can customize the services and amenities available at your home. We recommend providing a light breakfast in the morning with the option of lunch and dinner.

Thanks to our new website, our homestay families now have the added convenience of scheduling homestays, checking students information and responding to their inquiries, updating listings, sharing room availability, and checking payment schedules. Please note, personal information about your family will be provided on the website only for people authorized by you.

Compensation:

- You set your own price (we recommend GBP40/night and a discounted weekly rate of GBP196 and monthly rate of GBP672)

- Payments are made on Friday the week after check in (a 10% service charge of the total booking will be deducted)

Requirements:

- Must reside at home and be available to spend a little time with students

- Must be 19+ years old

- Must have written permission to host from landlord (if in a rental agreement)

- Must provide criminal record check and proof of address

- Home inspection (via Zoom)
