Based at Leeds Dock, the Identity team is at the heart of Sky's global digital platforms. You will be joining a diverse team where the focus is on building scalable applications with security and reliability built in.

Our team develops and supports market-leading video streaming services, underpinned by state-of-the-art engineering principles. We do this at huge scale: for over 50 million customers globally, spanning NBCUniversal Peacock in the US and Sky, NOW and SkyShowtime across Europe. No matter the device, the time or the place, we make sure that our diverse audiences can easily find and enjoy whatever they want to watch, choosing from the world's best entertainment, news and sport.

• Assist the UX designers in our user experience lab to create robust well tested user interfaces.
• Work closely with the UI designers to bring the design to life.
• Embrace working with a wide range of technologies, including but not limited to ReactJS, NodeJS, Java, Scala, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Be a part of an agile environment primarily using open source technologies and the best deployment techniques.
• Practice and drive the best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm.
• Utilise pair-programming on a regular basis and mentor less experienced developers where appropriate.
• Actively participate in some of the administrative activities within the team, i.e. recruitment, work planning and estimation, release planning, etc.

• Good knowledge of React, TypeScript and NodeJS.
• Ability to write and publish NPM packages.
• Knowledge of React State management.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Strong Frontend experience with HTML and CSS.
