What you'll be doing:

    You will be leading and developing strategies identified through business analysis techniques to deliver business improvement and value management initiativesLead and direct OpEx programmes, running client engagement and being recognised by others as an authority and a leader in this areaTo undertake all Governance & Delegation of Authority related responsibilities as nominated and approved to by the Head of OpExProvides overall daily governance and direction that identifies risks to plan delivery, routinely reporting status, highlights and gapsYou'll also have people manager responsibilities in this role
Your skills and experiences:

    Preferably Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering Degree or STEM Degree or equivalentIdeally Six Sigma/ Lean Qualified Requires detailed and comprehensive understanding of a number of Operational Excellence sub-disciplinesRequires depth of understanding of how Operational Excellence people are deployed, organised and governed, and how they are integrated with other disciplines.Requires good understanding of customer and customer requirements plus an awareness of industry approaches and standards

The team:

This is a really exciting role where you will be developing, implementing and governing capable OpEx resource that can meet programme improvement requirements aimed at delivering tangible Safety, Quality, and Cost business benefit supported through the deployment of BAE systems eight core behaviours.
