About the role

Orri is day treatment programme committed to changing the way people with eating disorders are treated in the UK. The role of Programme Manager Associate is an essential position that supports the Programme Manager delivering In Person and Online treatment, and leads on the weekly coordination and delivery of the programme timetable for the online and in person treatment programmes. Reporting into the Programme Managers, the role provides works al planning 6 weeks in advance to accommodate changing client treatment plans and staff availability.   

Our strategy 

The prevalence of people with a serious eating disorder requiring specialist treatment is increasing in the UK and beyond. Founded in July 2018, Orri provides an intensive day treatment programme for people aged 16+ with eating disorders, providing both a cost-effective alternative to long-stay hospitalisation as well as the opportunity for earlier intervention. Evidence strongly demonstrates that earlier intervention achieves better patient outcomes. Starting with one centre in London and a full online service, our ambition is to grow new Orri centres across the UK, making intensive day treatment a new choice for those suffering with an eating disorder, their families and loved ones, and for those who commission/fund services on their behalf. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Providing support to the In person and Online programme managers in the day to day running of the therapeutic day. This will include, but is not limited to: Liaising with admissions re new clients/timings/intake assessments, organisation of client/carer meetings, assisting in case reviews/treatment reviews and providing general support   
  • Overall management of the In Person and Online Timetable to be produced on a rolling 6-week period. Lead daily/weekly reviews to make adjustments based on absence and changes and manage subsequent communication to team members in handovers  
  • Forecast planning to identify upcoming gaps in provision due to annual leave, absence, training and identify cover, arrange cover and communicate as required to relevant team members  
  • Identify weekly client attendance, enter client initials into the Timetable, align with treatment plans at the start of each week, review Wednesdays and Fridays, confirm attendance on client timetabled days, review treatment plans for accuracy and sign off, ensure plans are in place and attend register meetings leading collecting relevant updates and information as required  
  • Circulate the timetable on a weekly basis on a Monday morning at 9am for both the In Person and Online programmes  
  • Undertakes daily reviews of 1:1 session scheduling, ensure note entries as attended / declined and updating the finance and case management teams of any missed sessions and/or sessions in lieu 
  • Manage the In Person and Online Programme attendance registers on a daily basis, ensure the relevant teams are notified of non-attendance and absence  
  • Manage room allocations in Hallam Street for all clinical sessions, for all internal and external meetings, communicate any room changes as required and communicate to the team 
  • Create and circulate online links to the team and clients on a daily basis 
  • Attend to the daily management of the timetabling inbox, manage timetabling queries in a prompt and professional manner and support clients and team members as required 

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A proactive hardworking and motivated individual, ideally with experience in a fast paced organisation and/or start up business  
  • Previous experience working in a medical or therapeutic healthcare environment 
  • Experience of administration required, with exposure to timetable, diary management or scheduling in a previous role and excellent IT skills 
  • In addition, any ad hoc requirements required within the postholders skill set to support Orri UK may be required.

Salary: £24,000 p/a 

Hours: 32 – 40 hours p/w 

Base: Hybrid between 14 Hallam Street, London, W1W 6JG  and remote. 

Contract type: Permanent   

Annual leave: The basic annual leave entitlement in a full year is 33 days inclusive of bank holidays. Leave entitlement is pro rata where applicable. The service is closed for the Christmas and New Year period.
