Job Description

The mission of the Resource Planning & Business Intelligence function is to become the leading centre of excellence across Experian Consumer Services, providing trusted data, insights and forecasts to our stakeholders in a simple and compelling way. We want to set the bar for what great looks like whilst ensuring efficiencies are optimised.

We don’t want to simply build relationships with our stakeholders, we want to partner, by bringing them with us on our journey towards data and insight accessibility. Doing this will enable them to make the best-informed decisions based on the grounded / accurate data, forecasts, intelligence, and insights we provide.

You will be a creative problem solver, that can deliver solutions and insights that work, are user friendly and are easy to maintain.

You will be the point of contact for many stakeholders for all their forecasting and intelligence requirements, which means that you will need to be a visible advocate of using intelligence to improve forecasting, to proactively recommend solutions and deliver actionable insight.

Our data is vast and from many sources, so you will need to be comfortable liaising with different product and technical owners to effectively manage the data into operations.  This will then provide the opportunity for you to develop automated reporting, self-serve dashboards and drive greater forecasting accuracy and insight as we move towards our long-term objectives of creating a main data repository.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own prioritisation of activity for key stakeholders, effectively challenging the order of delivery
  • Provide insight and clear data driven recommendations to the Operations leadership team
  • Keep abreast of the latest tools and tech to deliver a superior Operational Intelligence service to stakeholders
  • Continuously adapt and develop the OI service offering to the operation based on both core & strategic needs, ensuring fit for purpose & fit for use insight is available for differing audience requirements
  • Drive improvements to internal processes and manage customer and stakeholder expectations whilst implementing changes

Qualifications

  • Experience of problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse large data sets from varied sources
  • A proven track record of developing sustainable, insightful, automated OI/BI
