At L&Q, we are committed to providing the best services for our residents. We are looking for a Mental Health Practitioner to join our Housing Management Team.
This role will involve working closely with L&Q’s Resident Mental Health Lead and housing staff to ensure confidence and best practice working with residents who experienced mental health issues to achieve positive outcomes and sustain their tenancies.
You will have excellent practical knowledge of legislation, regulation, and best practice in the fields of mental health and safeguarding. You will have great case management skills when working with complex cases to make assessments, formulate solutions and manage risks.
You will be an effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to simplify, and problem solve in a co-productive way supporting others to raise skills and confidence.
Could this be you?
If you have experience working in the mental health field, a clinical qualification relating to mental health care and experience of working in a community mental health setting / social work, we want to hear from you. You must be registered with a governing body eg. NMC, HCPC, BABCP. We welcome applications from Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Therapists/ Psychologists.
