Job Details

Salary & Benefits: £42,399 - £58,034 base salary, plus annual personal bonus, up to 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays. We also offer flexible working hours, agile working practices and regular home working.

Job-Share and Full-Time options available.

Location - Bristol/Edinburgh/Halifax/Leeds/ (hybrid working environment with 1 - 2 days per week in one of the available locations)

This is a Lead / Senior Business Analysis role where you'll be supporting various (internal & external) relationships as an effective representative of the Scottish Widows go-to-market Digital Proposition.

Key services include Single Sign On which links externally to many industry technology providers, and Data Transfer, which supports over 17 technology providers, Benefit Consultants and Adviser Back Office Systems.

We're a small team, providing hygiene factor services with a high profile covering the majority of Scottish Widows strategic partners. As such superb interpersonal skills are key with an ability to make clear recommendations and gain collaborators support.

Given the scale of Transformation change on the horizon, you'll prioritise your activities in line with our Digital Strategy and see all deliveries through to fruition with the support of the TPI Product Owner and Adviser Digital or wider change teams.

Job Description:

  • Delivers key customer outcomes aligned with strategic priorities, either through existing Integration roll-outs or through new strategic developments.
  • Build and maintain your internal and external network and relationships to provide appropriate resolution & advice to any potential challenges.
  • Proactive management of external relationships through regular quarterly meetings, Assurance (Due Diligence) and Contractual reviews.
  • Take ownership of service contractual templates to ensure they remain up-to-date with the latest Group Policies.
  • With support from the TPI PO, support the day-to-day governance and risk framework for the team.
  • Identify shortcomings, then suggest and implement improvements to existing TPI practices, while developing and delivering projects or a work stream.
  • Support in developing the roadmap for TPI services in its role as part of the wider digital strategy.

We need you to have proven skills & experience of:

Essential Skills:

  • A background in Life & Pensions digital services.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading external relationships including successful contractual negotiation is a key to this role.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent internal & external relationships to enable positive outcomes and the ability to resolve challenges constructively.
  • Previous background in effectively leading on multiple moving priorities.
  • An effective communicator who is comfortable presenting to audiences at / to all levels.

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Take ownership of your personal development while informally coaching others in your area of expertise, pursue and invest in opportunities for your own personal growth.
  • Confident and keen to explore & understand the intricacies of your role and surrounding processes and no stranger to challenging the norm when appropriate to do so.
  • Ability to drive problems to conclusion in a proactive and collaborative manor.
  • Confident in the use of various prioritisation and administration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to clearly present ideas and provide guidance to others.
  • Previous experience working within modern Agile practices and demonstrating real passion for its principles.
