A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Hotel General Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:

  • Assisting in the recording of hotel income, including cash & credit card reconciliations
  • Ensuring all invoices are acurately processed, approved, coded and posted
  • Ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Accounts Assistant, you will need the following qualities and skills:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Purchase Ledger experience preferred but not essential.

The role is part-time 16 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern within office hours (i.e.: 2 x 8 hour working days, or 4 x 4 hour working days)
