Macmillan Cancer Support - Legacy+Marketing+Team+Assistant

Can you provide the highly-effective administration support and organisation that underpins the efficient operation of our Legacy Promotions team? If so, you have a key role to play in helping the team bring about real changes for people affected by cancer.

The first point of contact for enquiries within these teams, you’ll undertake a range of duties, including co-ordinating meetings preparing reports, updating project plans, manage travel arrangements, invoice processing and maintenance of papers, liaising with departments across Macmillan and generally ensuring everyone and everything is kept up to date.

Your previous experience and clear sense of ownership for those responsibilities means we can involve you in contributing to the set up and organisation of systems, and complex procedures or projects - areas in which you can also demonstrate your ability to prioritise multiple strands of activity to achieve objectives to deadline.

You will have good communication skills and a demonstrable ability to liaise effectively at all levels and across our organisation.

The work is important and your duties varied and we need you to be immediately effective within the role, so proven organisation and office administration skills within a team are a must. Demonstrably knowledgeable in the use of MS Office software, you'll have the ability to effectively administer meetings.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment? We commit to actively develop you and offer excellent benefits including a 21 hour week, BUPA, life assurance, pension, generous annual leave, and interest free loans for season ticket.

Closing date: 23rd August 2012.

Interview date: 30th August 2012.
