A part time administrator required for catering contract in Canary Wharf


Due to the continuous expansion of our business, an opportunity has arisen for an administrative assistant to complement the existing office structure in this high profile and demanding contract. The successful candidate will have gained experience in a similar role and possess strong administrative skills. Be able to work closely with the general catering manager and also thinking on your own feet.


• Excellent organisational and communication skills at all levels.
• Be confident and outgoing with an excellent phone manner and an extremely professional approach.
• Be able to work well on own initiative or part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Possess an adaptable and flexible approach with high attention to detail.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
• Role Information - The prime role of the Administrative Assistant is to provide administrative support to the department, ensuring all work is processed efficiently.

Duties will include:

• Processing of purchase invoices, hospitality recharges and stock management.
• Daily cashing up and banking procedures.
• Typing of menus and  signage (good knowledge of food would be ideal)
• Maintenance of spread sheets.
• Project work as set by the General Catering Manager.
• Be involved and contribute at team meetings from time to time.
• Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office.
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks.

Benefits Include:

• Monday to Friday (with 28 days holiday per year), inclusive of bank holidays.
• Meals on duty.
