Well it’s all happening in my home - just as my hormones are settling down but the weight is piling on, I have a teenager who is in the process of taking GCSE's, a new boss and I am having an extension built on the house! Well they say it comes in threes!
I do plan things well I must say. Thinking pregnancy would be a breeze with a teenager and a seven year old, I just thought I would sail through! Well I suppose I could be described as a ship in full sail but that is about the nearest to a breeze I shall get. The tiredness is unbelievable - I fell asleep on the sofa for 4 hours the other day and I had only been up for about 3 hours.
My hubby is trying to desperately build a two storey extension ready for baby number 3 - yes its another girl - good job he has a garage and a fully stocked bar in the garden! I have been desperately trying to find places for all of the stuff in our existing extension so it could be joined to the new one and this weekend the roof finally came off ready for level two to be built!
In the meantime my teenager has been snowed under with coursework and exam preparation so has been unable to do any chores - including for some reason carrying her dirty washing to the basket. She has flounced around in a fit of pique as if the world has to stop and no one understands the pressure she is under!
I am getting it from all sides! Our new boss is restructuring and there is turmoil at work. My immediate boss is stressed and so is everyone else. The pressure is on. I also have an exam to take in June so need to be studying.
So it’s all fun and games with me at the mo - still little one went to granny's for a sleepover at the weekend for the first time on her own so at least I had some respite.
On the plus side my energy levels seem to be rising and I am getting a buzz out of doing little things like making it round the supermarket without coming over all dizzy! I managed to iron the whole basketful today though I did sit down to do it and then had to put my feet up for the next hour or so to relieve my swollen ankles.
So maybe this wonderful maternal glow of sleek hair, fantastic skin and optimum health is actually going to happen. Hang on, is that another spot appearing on my face?
