To be eligible to apply for the overall Workingmums.co.uk Top Employer award, organisations should be able to demonstrate commitment to a range of policies and practices related to parents and flexible working.
Organisations should be able to:
a. Demonstrate a commitment to supporting flexible working across the organisation.
b. Demonstrate a commitment to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees, but most particularly parents, and at all levels.
c. Demonstrate a commitment to enabling employees to develop and build their careers – whatever their working pattern.
d. Demonstrate innovative practices around building a work culture which recognises employees’ need for work life balance.
Entrants to this category will be selected by Workingmums.co.uk from those shortlisted for all the other categories. Those who have been shortlisted will be invited to submit a short executive summary covering the above areas.
