We want to hear from you

Mum Shout To Be heard

How flexible is your employer? What do you pay for childcare? Would homeworking encourage you to work longer hours? Would you share your parental leave?

Workingmums.co.uk wants to hear from you on how you manage your family and working life and what, if anything might help to make it easier.

The survey’s questions range from what kind of hours and ways of working you favour most to whether childcare costs or availability deter you from returning to work and what financial support, if any, you currently access to how you work and your experiences on maternity leave and/or returning from a career break. It will also cover whether you have considered setting up a business or undertaken retraining.

This year there are new questions on withdrawal or changing of flexible working and more in-depth questions on Shared Parental Leave.

Last year’s survey showed over a fifth of working mums had been forced to leave their jobs because a flexible working request was turned down and that 38% of those still on maternity leave would not return to their jobs if flexible working wasn’t granted.

The results of the survey will be published in early September. It takes around 8-10 minutes to complete and provides a huge range of useful information for employers and others about the changing nature of how we live and work.

Everyone who responds has the choice to enter into a free prize draw to win £100 worth of M&S vouchers.
