As London gears up for the Olympics, a workplace and real estate consultancy has launched a White Paper giving businesses a guide on how to shift to more flexible working.
The report by AOS Studley outlines key areas London businesses should look at to ensure continuity during the Olympics. It also talks about implementing flexible changes in three steps - interim, long-term and transformation. Interim is a stop-gap measure for the Olympics and includes telework.
The long-term stage includes IT investment and creating an agile working culture and the transformational stage includes wider policy restructuring, physical changes to the business and creating a strong business case for cost savings and sustainability gains in the wake of the Olympics.
The Government announced this week that Whitehall workers will be encouraged to work from home during the Olympics. The AOS Studley report was launched during National Work Wise Week, which aims to promote smarter working practices.
