The Hard Slog

The extension is now finished and it's a juggle between sorting out the clutter and reorganising the existing rooms.  Teen girl is still strangely unable to help out with housework due to her vast amounts of homework, yet still manages to have time to play on the wii and help with the baby.

Seven year old who thinks she is a teen, now has a bigger bedroom but still finds it impossible to keep tidy.  And there are still 8 boxes of toys to come back from my mum's yet and store in her room - nightmare.  I am trying so hard to chuck as I unpack but still have way too much stuff.

And the baby  is now starting to get exciting.  Moving about commando style and grabbing all in her pathway.  Hence the pressure to get cleared up.  She is a little tyke, but so smiley she gets away with it all.  But the red hair is showing now and she seems to have a temper to match.  Can't wait till she is older to see how she gets on with the others!

Have been headhunted for a new part-time job to add to my existing one so it will soon be back to the juggling for me again.  I have requested a dishwasher as the teenager who is supposed to do it is far too busy.  She has a rude awakening once she leaves home.  So I am raring to go - funny how the thought of using one's brain is appealing once the hormones have settled.
