Stress, Stress and more Stress!

Stress, Stress and more Stress!

Our home business is taking off in leaps and bounds.  Between school runs, PTA meetings, work and housework I am managing to get lots done.  We bought a van and our name is spreading in the area.  I am torn between tackling the ever increasing pile of ironing that is threatening to take over my bedroom and doing paperwork for the business, when little one does go down for a nap.

There is no chance in the evenings as the teen is always up and watching TV, middle girlie seems to have every excuse under the sun to either get out of bed or get me to come up, and baby girl fights sleep as long as she can, which means not much leisure time for me.  Its good in that I know that it doesnt go on for ever, but still exhausting.

There is the thought that baby will soon be able to talk, so we shall be able to communicate better, but that is coupled with the realisation that if she talks as much as her sisters do its going to be pretty noisy!

When I do flop into bed at night sleep is either instant or I just lie there with my head buzzing for ages, listening to my hubby snoring beside me.  Sometimes I have to get up several times to little one, others its middly complaining about itchy eczema.  Poor thing.  Morning is a struggle as I try to stay in bed for that extra second, each extra moment of sleep a blessing.

But would I change anything?  No.  A friend mentioned a possible weekend away without children.  I laughed and said I would probably go to bed on the Friday night and sleep through the whole weekend!!  But tiring though it all is I wouldnt be without any of it!
