March for Mothers
March for Mothers is a sponsored walk taking place on 17th March 2012 at Greenwich Park, London. It hopes to raise awareness of the 340,000 women who die each year in pregnancy and childbirth whilst raising funds to help save the lives of mums and babies in some of the world’s poorest countries.
This event is for everyone: mums, dads, children, aunties, uncles, friends... Walkers can opt for a 5K or 10K distance and the route is over easy ground, ideal for mums with pushchairs and mums-to-be.
