Childrens Activities at Tate

Childrens Activities at Tate

Children's activities at Tate

All four Tate galleries offer a wide range of free activities and events for children and their families.

At weekends and during school holidays there are free family workshops, the Art Trolley at Tate Britain and Start at Tate Modern. Both workshops give children the opportunity to create and participate with an array of activities from sculpture building to art experiments.

At Tate St Ives and Tate Liverpool there are a range of activities for children that include drop-in activities at weekends and special activities during school holidays. All four galleries also have free fun art trails for families that act as a guide through the artworks.

Art is on display for free at all four Tate galleries and children under 12 gain free access to exhibitions when accompanied by a paying adult.
