How do you feel about being a working mum?

The theme of International Women's Day this year is Connecting girls, inspiring futures so we wanted to ask you some questions about whether you feel more can be done to make things easier for working mums in general to balance work and life in a more positive way and what messages you think children, particularly girls, are getting from the media, from their peers and from you about their future working lives.

Do you think, for instance, that girls still believe some careers are not for them? Has the situation got worse in recent years? Do you think your children view you as an inspiring role model or simply exhausted and doing too much?

We would be delighted if you could spare a few minutes to fill in this survey. Click here to take part.  The results will be published to coincide with International Women's Day and in advance of Workingmums LIVE, our one-stop shop on all things flexible working, to be held in London on 27 March. The event will include a series of workshops on a range of issues relating to work life balance.

To thank you for taking part in the survey we will enter you into into a free prize draw on 1st March 2012, to win a brand new Micro Flex Scooter, suitable for ages seven to adult, kindly donated by Micro Scooters Ltd, www.micro-scooters.co.uk.
