Workingmums.co.uk will be launching a brand new Business Zone in March to give parents all the tools they need to set up their own business or franchise.

The Zone is being launched in response to a Workingmums.co.uk poll which showed 69% of readers had considered setting up their own business or franchise.

The Zone will include in-depth articles and interviews on key business topics and advice and support to help those wanting to strike out on their own. There will also be a useful directory that features business and franchise opportunities and access to business support services.

The Zone is launched as a study shows mumpreneurs contribute over £4.4 billion to the UK economy and are widely recognised as the largest growth area in the start-up arena. However, our research shows it is hard for them to find all of the information that they require in one place, tailored to their needs as a working parent and addressing the fact that typically the ultimate motivator for them is the desire for flexibility and work/life balance. Workingmums.co.uk’s Business Zone will address these issues. Look out for it in March.
