Find out how Women In Construction can help you.
Cambridge is looking at a brighter future for women wanting to work in the construction industry as Women into Construction (WiC) cements a new relationship with Hill, an award-winning housebuilder and one of the leading developers across the south east.
Women into Construction is an independent not-for-profit organisation promoting gender equality in construction. WiC provides bespoke support to women wishing to work in the construction industry.
Construction offers the potential for an interesting and well-paid career. This includes office-based roles such as technical co-ordination, planning and quantity surveying as well as site-based roles such as trades, engineering and health and safety positions.
Hill has enabled WiC to begin working with women in Cambridge by offering work placements across their central sites.
If you are looking for opportunities in Cambridge and would like to know more about how WiC and Hill can support you, we are holding an information session on Monday 7th October at Hill’s Athena Sales and Marketing Suite, Eddington, Cambridge, CB3 1SE, 10am – 12pm.
